Conduct research into how your location's climate affects local ecosystems
Identify your location's ecosystem, and explain how your location's climate affects the ecosystem. What is its vegetation (flora) and animal life (fauna). Also explain how climate affects local human life there.

Pick a climate diagram and explain how physical geography has an effect on the information.
As you work through this assignment, take the big picture into account. Identify all of the physical geographic processes that cause climate to be what it is. Think about earth's layers, plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis, rotational tilt, weathering, erosion, soil type, landforms, winds, El Nino/La Nina, latitude, altitude, distance from the ocean and any other physical geographic factors you can think of that may have an effect on your location's climate. Make sure you explain how each factor affects your location's climate. This may be difficult, but even distant causation is possible to explain.
